We Need CT Vote-by-Mail for the Nov. Election. Email your Senator Today!
Great news! Governor Ned Lamont has issued an executive order to expand mail-in voting for Connecticut’s August 11th primaries.
We thank Governor Lamont and Secretary of State Denise Merrill for their leadership on this initiative. This success is thanks to you and all of the other concerned citizens, activists and organizations who worked together to rally around protecting our community from Covid-19, while also protecting our democracy.
However, most experts predict this crisis will last well past November, so the work is not done.
Send a message to your State Senator about why protecting our right to vote-by-mail during this global pandemic is crucial.
For mail-in voting, there’s a simple choice: our state legislators are either actively working to protect our right to vote safely during a pandemic, or they’re actively working to suppress votes in our communities.
Let's keep the fight going until we win vote-by-mail for the 2020 general election to protect our community and loved ones.
