Equity AgendaConnecticut is in a historic crisis of unmet need, all while the wealthiest fail to pay what they owe to state and local governments. Decades of bad policy choices have made Connecticut ground zero for the most extreme racial, economic, and gender inequities in the country. But we can make a change.
Recovery for All’s Equity Agenda presents a set of transformational policies to build a more equitable Connecticut—where all residents have the chance to live a fulfilling life, not just the wealthy few. Register here to register to attend Recovery for All's campaign kick off. |
Fight for Education EquityConnecticut's broken education funding system is failing too many children.
In New York, the Alliance for Quality Education (AQE) has made real gains in improving funding to schools and advancing equity in education. We met in November with Rosemary Rivera of AQE, and began planning how we can work together for a more equitable funding system and better outcomes for our kids! The event was co-sponsored by Recovery for All. We are continuing the fight in the 2023 legislative session. To get involvled, contact Mykah Knight. |
