Urge Congress to fight back and overturn President Bush's veto. Unfortunately for him, the President doesn't get the last word. We do.
In the coming days, the bill will return to Congress for a vote to override his veto. At last count, we were still about two dozen votes short of the amount needed to defeat the veto in the House of Representatives.
The majority of American voters support an expansion of children’s health coverage according to recent polls – including voters in Republican-held districts. So why do Republicans in Congress continue to ignore their constituents and stand by the President to block children’s health?
