HB-5234 expands on last years historic legislation that protects children in pre-school, day cares and elementary schools by expanding the toxic lawn pesticide ban through the 8th grade.

Last week the House passed (HB5234) 145 to 2!

Potential amendments in the Senate would seriously threaten to sidetrack this bill given that the Budget, Energy Reform and Health Care Reform have yet to be acted on and likely will be before the end of session in 4 weeks.
